About B&F
A flower, a street, and a short list.
Established in 2026 by two Fort Worth natives, B&F Research is a premier importer and supplier of high-quality synthetic research peptides. We proudly serve institutional laboratories, universities, commercial enterprises, and independent researchers. By providing top-tier peptides to our partners, we aim to fuel the next generation of scientific discovery. (And while our name carries a distinct legacy, B&F stands for our origins, not our founders’ initials).
Origin
Bluebonnet and Fairmount.
The B is for the bluebonnet — the state flower of Texas. Simultaneously, the title of one founder’s neighborhood. The F stands for Fairmount, the neighborhood name of the other founder.
Both halves of the name were deliberate. Nobody wanted a surname on the building, on the reasonable grounds that surnames imply the company belongs to a single individual.
B&F has never manufactured anything. From the first order the model has been the same: work only with European manufacturers who have every single batch tested by Janoshik Analytical, import from them, and supply the material unchanged. The work is in choosing the supplier and reading the report, not in the chemistry.
Since 2026
How we got here.
May 2026
Identifying the need
Two Fort Worth natives see a growing research peptide market, and how hard it is for laboratories to source material with reliable documentation.
June 2026
A solution discovered
The idea of B&F Research is born: a straightforward way for qualified researchers to source well-documented peptides for research use only.
June 2026
Prominence on wholesale
Emphasis is placed on wholesale, giving laboratories and institutions bulk purchasing options for larger studies.
July 2026
Connections across the globe
European manufacturers are brought on, with independent per-batch testing by Janoshik Analytical required of every manufacturer we buy from.
August 2026
Website polishing
The B&F Research website launches, built for clear navigation and transparent batch documentation.
2026 to date
Sixty-seven compounds, one standard
The catalogue reaches sixty-seven compounds across four research categories, all imported and supplied for research use only, with independent test results on file for each batch.
How we operate
Four things we argue about, and one we do not.
01
Reject, do not resell
A batch whose test report misses specification is refused and sent back to the manufacturer. It is not repriced, relabelled, or quietly blended into passing stock.
02
Report the number
Certificates carry the testing laboratory’s measured values, not specification ranges dressed up as results. If a figure is borderline, it is printed borderline.
03
Qualify the supplier
Adding a compound means qualifying a manufacturer for it, not placing an order. A manufacturer who cannot show independent testing on every single batch is declined, however good the price.
04
Same material, same paperwork
We supply laboratories, universities, businesses and independent researchers. All of them get the same catalogue, the same batch documentation and the same Research Use Only labelling.
The company today
What is actually here.
One site, one catalogue, and an independent test report behind every batch on the shelf.
One site
Import, quality review, packing and dispatch all sit on the Fairmount site in Fort Worth. We do not synthesise anything; manufacturing is done by our European suppliers.
Sixty-seven compounds
Sixty-seven compounds across four research categories, supplied as sealed ten-vial kits and nothing else. See the full catalogue.
Who we supply
Laboratories, universities, businesses and independent researchers. The same material and the same documentation go to all of them.
Batch testing
Every single batch is tested by Janoshik Analytical before it leaves the manufacturer. Nothing enters stock without an independent Certificate of Analysis.
Retention samples
Held for every batch under specification storage, so any reported result can be checked against the original material.
Fixed labelling
Research Use Only statements are printed on the carton and on every vial, and are not removed, altered or omitted on request.
Brand system
The mark, and why it looks like that.
Two lobes hold the B and the F. The lens where they overlap carries a bluebonnet spike drawn as a stack of perfect circles, which stands in place of the ampersand.
Palette
A bluebonnet value ramp, dark at the base and pale at the crown — the way the flower actually reads at a distance, and a legible gradient stack besides.
Typography
A quiet editorial serif for statements, a neutral grotesque for everything that has to be read carefully. Nothing decorative anywhere near a data table.
A small team, and we are still hiring.
Everything we are recruiting for at the moment is a campus position — ambassador, marketing and representative roles, held at your own accredited university.
