We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this website. That target covers colour contrast, keyboard operability, focus visibility, semantic structure and text alternatives.

What we have done

• Colour pairings across the bluebonnet palette were selected against contrast ratios rather than by eye.
• The site is navigable by keyboard alone, including the mobile menu, which is implemented without JavaScript.
• Motion is reduced automatically for visitors whose system requests it.
• Text resizes to 200% without loss of content or function.

Known limitations

Stock-status labels in the compound catalogue use colour as well as text; the status is always stated in words as well as colour.
